FROM THE RECTOR Dear Friend:
St. Andrew’s is an exciting place! We have people from every age group, every ethnic group, and every background imaginable among us. What do we have in common? A love for the Lord Jesus Christ and for each other.
St. Andrew’s is a place that stands for something. We stand for the Authority of Scripture. We stand for the eternal, life-changing Gospel of Jesus. We stand for reaching people with the love of God through Christ.
St. Andrew’s is a place that is experiencing change. Change for the better! We are moving to new, bigger and better facilities! We are growing! We are unified more than ever! Our ministry offers something for every age group—and we care about every member of your family from the youngest to the oldest.
St. Andrew’s is a place with a global vision. Our leadership is from the Global South (Rwanda). We believe that God cares about the entire world, not just our particular part of it! We support missions both with our dollars and with our own personal involvement. We know that every Christian has a role to play in sharing Jesus with the nations.
St. Andrew’s is a place where the Ancient and the Future meet. We worship using a liturgy similar to that of the earliest Church, and yet we are open to contemporary expressions of the Holy Spirit. We are Evangelical, Catholic, Charismatic and Orthodox; we wouldn’t have it any other way! We are a part of the Anglican Mission in America (AMiA) and we are under the authority of Bishop Thad Barnum.
St. Andrew’s is place that you must experience in order to understand. Come and discover this wonderful thing that God is doing!
Yours in Christ,
Father Bob Hackendorf,
Rector
